Ella King
Vocals/Accordion/Mandolin/Banjo/Percussion

Ella is the multi-instrumentalist in American Fools Band. Coming from a musical and artistic family, Ella was inspired by her dad, “I always wanted to perform like him,” she says. At age 5, Ella started playing violin and piano. In middle school, she acquired a ukulele, and has been collecting and learning instruments ever since, becoming proficient on guitar, mandolin, banjo, accordion, cello, piano and violin. Oh yeah, she sings too!

On performing with AFB, Ella says, “I like being in the band because I love playing music with other people, but it’s really special that I get to do this with my sister, Emma. I’ve been singing and playing music with her my whole life. We really understand how to work with each other. She’s my favorite person to perform with.”

When not performing with AFB, Ella’s other creative endeavors include: making costumes for and acting in shakespeare plays, drawing and designing clothes, sewing, writing, painting, and working on her fixer upper house.
