
Emmie Elm
Vocals/Violin/Percussion
Emmie is a proud member of American Fools Band. She has been playing violin since the age of five, and has played in many orchestras, choirs, and mixed ensembles. Under the Indianapolis Youth Orchestra, she performed at several prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall. Currently, Emmie is studying music education at Butler University, and is first chair violin with the Butler Symphony Orchestra.
Emmie and her sister Zella Mae have performed the national anthem at Victory Field with they’re acappella quartet, and have a family band which regularly performs at churches and retirement homes. Emmie and her sister Zella Mae have a very special bond and a blending of melody and harmony that only close musical siblings can achieve.
Emmie’s violin and vocal talents are evident on every song, and her talents are on full display during her highlighted sections of the show. Emmie’s love for music and the arts runs deep. She hopes to use her time with American Fools Band to grow in musicianship and apply her knowledge to teaching younger generations.
