Jason is one of two band members who share the same hometown as Mellencamp. Being an athlete first, Jason had an unorthodox and late start in music. While away at college playing football in California, he befriended Eddie Money’s drummer (Glenn Symmonds) which provided him an introduction to the drum set.

Within 8 years he landed the drum chair for famed 80’s star, Henry Lee Summer and the first call backup for Sony artist, Jennie DeVoe. Fast forward 25 years; Jason now has over 5000 hours of stage experience in pop/rock, country, and folk music with a variety of well known artists. He is very grateful for the opportunity to perform Mellencamp music for fans everywhere., “I grew up around John’s family, playing football in his parents back yard, attending shows, visiting the Belmont Studio. So this is very surreal to play some of the same songs I watched them track when I was a kid.”
